UFO sighting in Richmond, Virginia

This happened in Richmond, Virginia. A man who has been walking the same route near his home for 10 years—witnessed something rather strange in the sky. Near his neighbors home there were blue lights which were shaped like small glowing rods. These rod-like lights seemed to hover some 30 feet above the ground and were silent near his neighbors tree.

This was documented as case #61042 by the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) from their eye-witness reports catalog.

According to the witness, this happened around 11:33 PM on August, 24th 2014. The neighborhood is Stratford Hills located in Richmond, Virginia. Could this be some type of scouting machine made by extraterrestrials? The area is relatively peaceful, with some heavily-wooded forest nearby in a suburban neighborhood setting.

The man who wished to remain nameless said: “I’m 54 years old and I’ve been walking this route nearly every day for 10 years and what I beheld at 11:33 p.m. on a very quiet Sunday night was abnormal and totally out-of-place! Most of my neighbors probably were in bed.”
“I was fortunate to view the mysterious glowing object that seemed to be hiding up in the tree and I partially attribute my good fortune to the fact that it was a new moon – the darkest night of the month!”

“The silent UFO first was rod-shaped with a glowing blue light on the left end and a pinkish-violet light on the right end. It was hovering horizontally in a place where a human could not be. It was not a new-fangled bug zapper and there are no cable-TV or electric lines running near the tree and definitely not at that height. No logic for the uncanny faintly-glowing lights in the tree.”

He used his iPhone 4S with no zoom to initially shoot some video footage, afterward he switched to still shots taking a number of them over a 10 minute period of time. What this looked like was a small cylindrical anomaly, which looked cobalt-blue and violet with an unusual purple color to its core. One other interesting thing about this encounter, was the sound which was made. It was a clicking type sound by comparison to a picture camera photographing everything around it.

Another encounter which happened in Richmond back in 2014, appears to show a similar type of extraterrestrial machine used and seen. Only this time, it was taken in the daytime hours. This video shows more.
